Member of Conservation Minnesota staff since: January 2007.   Started with the Minnesota League of Conservation Voters in August 2002. 

Duties:  Whatever needs to be done.  Update website? Covered. Contact activists regarding important legislation?  All over it.   Need help with data?  Consider it done.

Education: Bachelor of Arts from Concordia College-Moorhead

Previous Experience: A hodge-podge of corporate administration, nonprofit data work, and research.

Hobbies:  Avid reader, knitting/crocheting, other types of needlework, social networking, playing with gadgets, and chasing toddler son

Favorite literature: There is a special place in my heart for children’s literature, but I’ll read anything put in front of me.

Favorite band:  A local band, Patchouli

Favorite location in Minnesota: Red Wing, of course!

Why I Work for Conservation Minnesota: There is something gratifying about working for an organization that is making a difference in the world as opposed to just making shareholders happy.    I really enjoy working with my talented and energetic coworkers.

Favorite way to spend a day:  Reading a book or knitting with a cup of hot chocolate.

Last big vacation:  Two years ago we split our honeymoon—one week on Maui and one week in Park Rapids.  We’d definitely go back to Park Rapids.

Family: My husband Joe, my son Justin, and my baby girl, Alyssa.
