2008 Summer Issue - Once in a Generation

In November, Minnesota voters will have their say on a proposed constitutional amendment to secure funding for the next 25 years for water cleanup, fish and wildlife habitat, and parks and trails. In this issue of Conservation Minnesota magazine, we talk to some people who know and care about these resources and hear their stories about what the state’s Great Outdoors mean to them and you. In the process, we also report on what the amendment is designed to do and empower readers to make your own judgments. As always, our magazine features on-line video and encourages you to post your own Minnesota conservation thoughts and stories.

Our magazine also features the story of a boy’s Minnesota cabin memories, a canoeist’s favorite river to paddle and other tales of the outdoors, how water monitoring is done here, and a roundup of this year’s conservation accomplishments at the Capitol.

We invite you to check it out — and let us know what you think.
