Join Conservation Minnesota and partners in removing invasive buckthorn along the Crooked Slough Nature Trail at the City of Winona’s Prairie Island Park. Equipment to be provided—gloves, saws, loppers, and herbicide. However, you are welcome to bring your own gloves and tools.

Ever wonder what our animal relatives are up to in the winter? Join Conservation Minnesota and the Mississippi Headwaters Audubon Society on a winter hike at the Nielson Spearhead Center to search for tracks, scat, scrapes, and trails to understand how animals survive in the cold winter months.
