The House Environment & Natural Resources Omnibus Bill includes funding and policy for key environmental initiatives, including provisions to plant conservation and ash replacement trees, restore grasslands and wetlands, prohibit or disclose PFAS in consumer products, incorporate cumulative impacts analysis, bolster conservation incentives, promote soil health, reintroduce elk to northeast Minnesota, and address lead contamination. In total, House SF 4062 proposes over $200 million in supplemental funding for environmental protection.
